Paediatrics First Aid - 12 hrs (Level 3 RQF)

Who is this course for?

This course is primarily designed for anybody who works in the Early Years settings and anyone who works with children and infants and would like to learn emergency life saving actions whether they are needed at work or at home. The course is recognised by OFSTED and is a requirement for nursery staff and private childminders.

Anaphlaxis, How to use an Epi-Pen and Asthma are also covered during the course.

Qualification Options FAIB or Ofqual?

The course meets the requirements for both the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and Ofqual Level 3 (RQF) requirements. You can choose which certificate/qualification you require prior to the course start date.  If you are unsure which you need please call the office for advice.

Certification:

On completion of the course students will recieve a qualification certificate valid for 3 years issued by EFA Training approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) or on request prior to the course starting a nationaly accredited Ofqual Level 3 QCF award isued by an approved Ofqual organisation Qualsafe awards.

Annual Refresher Training:

Due to First Aid skill fade the HSE now strongly recommend that all First Aiders attend annual refresher training. This is a three hour course. Please contact us for course dates and venues. Remember we can also come and train at your premises.
