Paediatric First Aid - Blended E-learning.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed to provide child care settings with approved Paediatric (12 hr) First Aiders. The course is ideal for those who are going to be a nominated First Aider in the Nursery / School.
Anaphlaxis, How to use an Epi-Pen and Asthma are also covered during the course.
Course Structure.
Part 1: The first 6 hrs is completed by e-learning at a time to suit you. You can log on and off as many times as you want completing bite size chunks as you please. Part 1 must be completed within 6 weeks prior to starting Part 2.
Part 2: The Second 6 hrs is completed face to face with your trainer who will ensure you have understood the theory and be competant in the practical elements of the course.
Please Note: Part 1 must be completed before attending Part 2.

Certification:
On completion of the course students will recieve a qualification certificate valid for 3 years issued by EFA Training approved by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

Annual Refresher Training:
Due to First Aid skill fade the HSE now strongly recommend that all First Aiders attend annual refresher training. This is a three hour course. Please contact us for course dates and venues. Remember we can also come and train at your premises.
