First Aid at Work (Level 3 RQF)

Who is this course for?

All employers in the UK have a legal obligation to make First Aid provision for their employees. This course is ideal for those who are going to be a First Aider in the organisations workplace.  Included is an introduction to AED Defibrillation.

Option 2 - Blended E-Learning 

Cost: £170 + VAT per person        Length: 6hrs online + 12hrs (2 Days)  face to face with trainer 

Blended E-Learning Course Structure.

Part 1:  The first 6 hrs is completed by e-learning at a time to suit you.  You can log on and off as many times as you want completing bite size chunks as you please.  Part 1 must be completed within 10 weeks prior to starting Part 2.

Part 2:  12 hrs training is completed face to face with your trainer who will ensure you have understood the theory and be competant in the practical elements of the course.

Please Note:  Part 1 must be completed before attending Part 2.

Certification:  FAIB or Ofqual?

The course meets the requirements for both the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and Ofqual Level 3 (RQF) requirements. If you are unsure which you need please call the office for advice.

On completion of the course students will receive a qualification certificate valid for 3 years issued by EFA Training approved by either the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) or on request prior to the course starting a nationally accredited Ofqual Level 3 RQF award issued by an approved Ofqual organisation Qualsafe awards.

Annual Refresher Training:

Due to First Aid skill fade the HSE strongly recommends that all First Aiders attend annual refresher training. This is a three hour course. Please contact us for course dates and venues. Remember we can also come and train at your premises at a date of your choice.
